Goddess Gauri, also known as Parvati or Uma, is one of the divine consorts of Lord Shiva. She is often associated with marital happiness, fertility, and prosperity. Gauri Puja is performed to seek the blessings of the goddess for a happy and harmonious married life.

Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity, is the remover of obstacles and the lord of beginnings. He is worshiped at the beginning of any auspicious event or ceremony to ensure its success and smooth progress.

At first Sankalp is taken in the name of the devotees. Then invoking Lord Ganesh and Mata Gauri is done with the help of Mantras and prayers by the pujari. Then things like flowers, fruits, water etc are offered to Lord Ganesh and Mata Gauri with the help of mantras by the pujari. At last, aarti is done and the blessings are taken by the devotees.
