Bhoomi Puja

Bhoomi pooja is a ritual performed in honour of Goddess Bhoomi and Vastu Purush (deity of directions). Bhoomi means Mother Earth. Hence, this pooja eradicates the ill effects and Vats Doshas in the land. Beginning prior to the construction of any structure, this smoothes out the process of construction.

Bhoomi Pujan is one of the most important ceremonies for a new house as it eliminates and keeps away the negativity from the areas. The puja is dedicated to Vastu Purush and Goddess Bhoomi, which includes offering prayer to Mother Earth while praying for a smooth construction process and healthy, prosperous life in the new house.

You must be aware of the ideal Bhumi Pujan Muhurat, tithi, what all is required, or the ideal Lagna and nakshatra for this puja to complete the construction of a dwelling with god’s blessing.
